Another week, another living room inspiration, this time in a colorful and fun home that belongs to Matt & Beau who’ve always dreamt of living in a typical New Orleans shotgun home.

The house was built somewhere around the late 1800s and early 1900s and still has most of the original wood floorings and ceilings, which adds a whole lot of charm. What caught our attention was the jaw-dropping vintage decor they used to adorn their space.
They decided to use a very neutral white to allow the natural light of the front floor length window to really be on display.
While they kept the living room a natural white, in the dining room they decided to go bold and paint it pink.
They thought the golden tones of the chandelier and bar cart would work really well against the color and we couldn’t agree more. The table in the dining room is made of centuries-old repurposed barge wood. It’s remarkably heavy and has a very sturdy farm-house feel to it that we all love.

The outside is gorgeous. One of a kind.
