Two minutes from Sacré-Couer, the stunning basilica in Paris, is this small minimalist apartment owned by Patricia, designed with bold colors, modern geometric patterns, and an amazing attention to detail. Trendy and colorful, this apartment doesn’t disappoint and is certainly an inspiration when it comes to style.
As always, we’ll be focusing on the living room, one of the most important spaces of the house and a room for relaxation after a long day of visiting Paris and the different events invading the city in the next days. Even if you’re going shopping, visiting the Sacré-Couer, going to the Marché Saint-Pierre market, or strolling through the Butte Montmartre district (all spots that are just a few minutes away from this apartment), you’ll have a home to return to that will make you feel like a true Parisian.
We can’t deny how well designed the living room was. Inspired by small living room ideas all around, we find this to also be an inspiration all on its own. The leather couch matches the geometric patterned rug perfectly, and the accessories such as the pillows are the complement needed to create an even bigger harmony. The wooden elements of the modern center table and TV table match the color scheme that is as bold as it is trendy. Blues, yellows, blacks, woods and oranges mixed together to create a stunning small living room with clear style.
There is a small dinning space right next to the sofa, turning this small living room somehow even bigger and more surprising in the way it’s so well organized and put together. The colorful stools and wooden chairs with metal legs, pairing with a small dining table, remind us greatly of a Parisian café, and we can easily understand why it’s such a beloved home for so many tourists that wish to get the most out of their experience in France.
The bedroom is just as stunning. With a vintage influence in the art, greatly inspired by Paris in the 50’s, this bedroom takes the living room color scheme to a whole other level. With the same navy blue curtains that open to a view of a Paris district, the same white and yellow walls that look so beautiful with the light blue of the bed sheets and creative use of yellow bar stools as bedside tables, this room couldn’t get any better.
The geometry is everywhere, from the design of the modern black and white wardrobe to the beautiful bee-hive shaped mirror that is both stylish and extremely practical when it comes to giving the sense of a bigger room. When it comes to Small Spaces 101, that’s the first lesson and this home replicates those tips perfectly.
The kitchen is just as small as the rest of the rooms but with amazing storage organization so you can have everything you need and still feel like you’re right at home. Stylish blue hues paint the walls and the door, paired with a discrete white brick wall and the amazing black and white checkered floor that makes this kitchen feel so French in its uniqueness and modernity.
And even though the kitchen is small, why do you need anything bigger? With bistros, cafés, wine bars or rooftops bars surround this Parisian home, you can (and should!) go on a French cuisine journey now that you have the chance! If you still want to make a meal or two in this lovely home before you return back to your day-to-day life, then this kitchen has everything you need in just one small space. What more could you ask for?
And last, but not least, there is still room for the basics: a bathroom. Taking advantage of amazing white brick wall, designed with a black strip for a more modern and trendy look, it’s surrounded by a soothing blue that doesn’t overpower or tire the eye. In fact, you’ll find yourself in love with this color by the time you return back home.
A home that makes you fall in love with Paris, that takes you on a journey through modern French design in a small but stunning place is truly honorable. If you wish to know more or are interested in spending a few days in this apartment, why not check out Patricia’s Airbnb page? You’ll find a host that is generous and helpful. Everything you need is right here!
