It is hard to imagine but in the beginning, this, now an awesome house for a family, was a drab warehouse. With the addition of the right decor and furniture, they tuned the industry flair into a warm home.
When you have a look around you will see the elements of the industry past, the concrete floors, glass pavers used as a skylight and the rough stone walls reminds to the time. Because of the right use of color and the real warmth material of pine the surrounding does not really have anymore the feeling of coldness.
The Design, suitable for spring, is a very neutral white, gray and brown with some little details in black. With the accessories and other art objects, the room gets filled with consistent and damped shades of color, which you could compare with all the wonderful spring colors outside!
In nearly every corner there are some bright tones, golden shades that range from butter yellow to brass, they repeating in nearly every corner and are given the room a feeling of liveliness.
Another important aspect, like I already said, is the use of pine throughout all of the space. Because it is used for borders the windows the light which is shine trough gives a bright and lovely aura. The entire wall, which is clad in pine, also supports this effect.
The pine plays off of the rest of the rustic materials by adding uniformity, order, and refinement. As the perfect end the little flowers are giving some extra spring feeling for you, just enjoy this minimalist living room and welcome the spring!
