Milan Design Week is soon arriving to Italy and, with it, Salone Del Mobile, one of the most awaited design fairs of the year. With the incredible trends and the luxury brands awaiting for us in Milan in April, it was obvious we’d be taking this journey with you. Today, we take a look at some of the best Italian luxury brands that will be present at Salone Del Mobile.
The Roberto Cavalli Group, controlled by Italian investment fund Clessidra SGR, is one of the most important Italian companies operating in the luxury fashion, accessories and lifestyle sectors. Founded in the 70’s, when fashion designer and entrepreneur Roberto Cavalli launched the namesake brand, the Group currently operates a wide portfolio of internationally established labels positioned in the different segments of the high-end offering. Being one of the biggest names in the industry, it’s no surprise that it has a regular presence at Salone Del Mobile.

Porada has its origin from the passion of wood. It was established in 1968 by Luigi Allievi with the aim of expanding the production of chairs, started in 1948. Porada’s collection is wide and varied, made up of a multitude of occasional furniture developed in collaboration with several designers. In 2018 the brand celebrated its 70th anniversary at Salone del Mobile!
The MissoniHome collection, designed by Rosita Missoni, is produced and distributed by T&J Vestor, a leading Italian company in home textiles and furnishings, since the early 80s. The appeal of the Missoni message is transformed through the know-how of T&J Vestor, offering proposals for decorating and furnishing houses and gardens in an innovative way. MissoniHome can be found in exclusive designer boutiques and department stores in all the big capital cities and in Missoni boutiques. The brand is present at Salone del Mobile, appealing to architects and designers for their creative installations. Furthermore, the ever-growing active presence on the internet is remarkable.

Bugatti Home Collection describes the elegant and extraordinary lifestyle originated from the artistically inspired environment of the Bugatti family since the beginning of the 20th century. Flexform’s history is a family history. Now at the third generation, FLEXFORM was founded in the furniture manufacturing district of Brianza, in Northern Italy.
