What better way to start than this Barcelona living room, calling out European mid-century design into every piece of furniture? Designed by Miquel Alzueta, it features pieces by french creators, to bring the vintage vibe into the mix and harmonize perfectly with the architecture.
Combine different types and colors of wood, white armchairs and metallic lighting, and you get the juxtaposition of materials that the mid-century style is so known for.

Soft and organic, this living room screams comfort with an undeniable mid-century inspiration. From the shapes of the stools and center table, the use of wood, the upholstered chairs and the use of metallic black lamps, contrasting with the white of the walls, this living room is perfect to be replicated in your own home as you can easily get this look.

Work of Todd Goddard and Andrew Mandolene, this living room is part of one of their homes in Armonk, New York City. They sought to renovate it with mid-century inspiration and it’s easy to see that inspiration in all the materials of the furniture pieces they chose. Even the chairs take us back in time to the 40′, 50’s and 60’s and we can’t help but admire the beautiful and refreshing design of this space.

How about this house in Paris? With the natural light coming in and accentuating the furniture pieces and palette of colors, you can easily see the mid-century influence i nthe stools, reclined chair and even the sideboard on the corner of the room. The use of the rug was a nice touch to complement this living room and the different colors of the materials used.

This apartment in Bristol showcases these styles perfectly, with its refined modernity, pastel colors with a touch of black here and there against the typically Scandinavian walls, and mid-century elements scattered in the furniture pieces, such as the use of wood, mixed materials, and so on.
