Kiev-based architect and interior designer Valery Yudin has some incredibly inspiring projects on his Behance profile. One of those projects is a Kiev apartment that mixes the best of Scandinavian style with the most adorable pastel colors you could ever imagine that harmonize perfectly with the apartment decor. The result? An incredible and modern apartment filled with a Nordic style, gorgeous decor and an amazing inspiration to many.

An open plan living space always creates a cozier atmosphere, making it possible to join the living room with the kitchen, to talk to friends and family while preparing a meal for a dinner party. The soothing color palette of grays, whites and aqua blue/green creates a modern look with a slight Nordic inspiration.
The geometric tiling on the floor creates the illusion of a carpet under the dining table. The Scandinavian style is visible in the table and the minimalist chairs, a great addition to the simple kitchen behind it, creating a very contemporary feeling to the home decor.
Splashes of color make a difference when decorating a living space. especially if you add colors such as aqua and cool grays, soft wooden elements and a touch of Nordic inspiration.
It’s hard to believe a small living space could be used in such a genius way, providing inspiration and gorgeous design, but that’s just another reason why we love it so much.

The master bedroom rocks the same color palette as the open plan kitchen and living room, and it has the advantage of having its own private bathroom. Although not very big, the illusion of space is created by the use of light colors and textures, that add depth to the interior design.
The children’s room is probably one of our favorite rooms of the whole house. Not only does it bring a surprise with more colors added to the mix, but it is also a very stylish space with dreamy pastel colors.

Yellow, aqua, gray and light wood combine together perfectly and the small colorful details on the wall recreate the look of a climbing wall, which is a great way to enjoy the space available and create a fun distraction for the younger.
