Benjamin Moore have announced their 2018 Color of the Year, and everyone is loving it!
It was not long ago that Benjamin Moore announced their 2018 color of the year, having finally put everyone at ease after months of speculation. And truth be told, their color of the year is everything we could have hoped for and more. It is vibrant, it is bold, it brings us back to life! So, without further ado, the Benjamin Moore color of the year for 2018 is (drumrolls, please)… Caliente!

Benjamin Moore’s Color of the Year, Caliente AF-290, is strong, radiant and full of energy.
Presented earlier this month at the Guggenheim, Caliente comes to join a series of other 22 Benjamin Moore colors, that together create the perfect color palette for your 2018 home decor. From pale pink to oxblood alongside agreeable neutrals, Benjamin Moore’s color palette for 2018 is filled with hues that are easy to pair and would make for great house paint colors.

Caliente is unapologetically bold and, after a year of starring on the runways and even in some of the best tv series of the year (The Handmaid’s Tale is just one of the many incredible examples), it has now come to shape the way we perceive the upcoming year home decor-wise.
Together with their announcement, Benjamin Moore also presented a series of ambiances, showing that Caliente and the surrounding color palette truly goes with any style. From a modern home decor to a rustic country house style, this color is most certainly going to be a favorite amongst the interior design community.

“Caliente is the signature color of a modern architectural masterpiece; a lush carpet rolled out for a grand arrival; the assured backdrop for a book-lined library; a powerful first impression on a glossy front door. The eye can’t help but follow its bold strokes. Harness the vitality.”
