Today we want to show you some living room ideas created by David Collins Studio, but first, let’s know the man and the firm a little bit better.
The Man:
Collins (1955-2013) – born and raised in Dublin – was an Irish architect who specialized in designing the interiors of bars and restaurants in London.

From Dublin, he traveled to London, where in 1985 he redecorated a friend’s home, a design that, according to Collin’s website, was later seen by Pierre Koffmann who enlisted David to design La Tante Claire.

These projects were the foundations of the earliest iteration of Collins Studio. “David’s legacy is a subtle vision that pervades the contemporary aesthetic.” Each work across hotels, restaurants, residential and retail, is a unique project thanks to the designer’s extraordinary capacity to reinvent and reinterpret the past.
